The first sensor does just what it is supposed to do. But an additional gateway was required to bring the sensor data to the internet. The gateway brings costs and is an additional component that can potentially misbehave.

We took our lessons learned and implemented a new approach that’s cheaper and even more reliable.

The solution: Extension cords and an antenna that’s places outside. Outside, where we have LoRaWAN coverage.

Works like a charm!
